Meredith Potter (B.A. Arts Management, WAAPA) is currently the Manager/Producer for Peggy Baker Dance Projects, which is slated to cease operations in June 2023 after a successful 2-year planned wind-down period. Over her 30+ year career, she has worked with companies in both Canada and Australia, including Volcano Theatre (2005 - 2021), Nova Dance (2008 - 2018), CORPUS, Dusk Dances, Patch Theatre Company, and the Adelaide Festival Centre Trust. She has guest lectured with Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Performance in 2021 and 2012-14. She has sat on boards and advisory committees for the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (3 years as Board Chair), the Metcalf Foundation (Strategic Initiatives), and currently for Centennial College’s Arts Management graduate certificate program. In 2014, Meredith was awarded the Leonard HcMardy and John Harvey Award for Outstanding Leadership in Arts Administration. Since 2015, Meredith has led the Producers’ Learning Network (PLN), an ongoing professional development platform for Toronto-based independent (non-venued) producers of theatre and dance.
